Name: Zolf J. Kimblee
Series: Fullmetal Alchemist (mangaverse)
Age: Unknown (probably early thirties)
Nationality: Amestrian
Species: Human
Job/Rank: A former state alchemist in a shady relationship with the Amestrian government.
Weapons: His own hands (the transmutation circles fundamental to explosive alchemy are tattooed on his palms) augmented by a philosopher's stone (which he normally stores in the relative safety of his stomach and regurgitates when needed).
Powers/Abilities: Kimblee is a skilled alchemist who has mastered explosive alchemy. In execution, he manages the latter by rearranging the atomic/molecular structure of objects so that they become highly reactive/volatile, and thus detonate. Kimblee also possesses tactical/combat skills, and has an exceptional, if not photographic, memory.
Personality: Kimblee is an intelligent psychopath, with some degree of explosive-related pyromania. He comes across as slickly polite, but is also cold, calculating, manipulative, and sadistic. Kimblee espouses some Darwinian/dharmic beliefs, yet it seems horribly convenient that they legitimate his mania and/or core desire – to advance his alchemy, as well as practice it without restriction.
Important Notes: During the Ishbalan extermination campaign, Kimblee was singularly responsible for massacring more Ishbalans than any other individual. Also, in the anime, as well as most manga scanlations, Kimblee's state alchemist codename is "Crimson". While in the official English manga release, it was translated as "Red Lotus".

Basic Overview: Began game-play on 1/29/08 with Kimblee as he was after his appearance in The Ant's Bite (Chapter 79). Initially claiming partial amnesia, Kimblee forwarded himself as an officer and state alchemist, yet dropped that ruse when Roy Mustang returned to the City, but from his version of Amestris. Kimblee dabbled in social clubs and courting death before briefly going home himself. He returned to the City 3/22/2009 and luckily had his wounds attended to, since the alchemist was pulled away from the events of Arch-Enemy (Chapter 93).
